About The Park.
Explore Fort Smith National Historic Site - including Judge Isaac C. Parkers courtroom, the gallows, and First and Second Fort Smith with this official National Park Service app. From the establishment of first Fort Smith on December 25, 1817 to the final days of Judge Isaac C. Parkers jurisdiction over Indian Territory in 1896, Fort Smith National Historic Site preserves almost 80 years of history.
